gall stone: Crystallized mineral deposits that can develop in the gall bladder or biliary passages (passages that transport bile from the gall bladder).

geriatric: An elderly person. Also used as an adjective to describe elderly diseases and conditions.

hematuria: Blood in urine.

hemorrhage: A rupture in blood vessels and accompanying bleeding.

hydration: Adding fluid to the body. Also the state of being hydrated (having sufficient fluid for proper bodily functions).

incontinence: An inability to control urination or defecation.

intravenous: Describing any procedure within a vein, such as administering medication through an intravenous needle.
